We will light candles together across the oceans with the Ambassador of Israel to Poland, Dr. Yacov Livne, and the Chief Rabbi of Poland, Michael Schudrich, and with long time advocate for the Polish Jewish community and remembrance, attorney Michael H. Traison as well as the head of JCC Warsaw - Patrycja Dołowy. The meeting will focus on lights in the dark: the stories of Israeli families living in Warsaw, the togetherness, support and the sense of community in JCC Warsaw. An extraordinary and unexpected picture of solidarity in Poland - a place where a small but vibrant and diverse Jewish community lives.
