Israeli Day at the JCC Warszawa

JCC Warszawa and Israeli Embassy invite everyone for this year's celebrations of Yom Haatzmaut (that falls on Thursday, April 23rd 2015) during the Israeli Day at the JCC Warszawa on April 26th 2015 from 12:00 p.m.!

An overview on the contemporary Israeli music scene

12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Special edition of Bezalel artistic workshops for kids with Noga Ravin - Israeli designer living in Poland. On the occasion of Yom Haatzmaut, participation in the Bezalel workshops will be free of charge for all kids, sign up: bezalel@jccwarszawa.pl

12:00 p.m.:
An introduction on the contemporary Israeli society by Ruth Cohen-Dar, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Israeli Embassy combined with the screening of the film "Sof HaOlam Smola" (the lecture will be conducted in English, the film will be in Hebrew with Polish subtitles). Free entrance.

2:00 p.m.
Israeli folk dancing with Patrycja Wawrzynowska open for everyone. Free entrance.

2:30 p.m.
New Jewish Music Festival: Yiddishe songs writing workshops with Anna Rozenfeld, sing up: fundacja.nadaye@gmail.com

3:00 p.m.
Women in the Israeli Army - a lecture by Nili Amit combined with the analysis of the film "Zero motivation" (the lecture will be conducted in Polish, the film will be in Hebrew with English subtitles). Free entrance.

6 p.m.
What do Israelis look for in Poland? - a debate featuring different Israelis living in Poland - Matan Shefi, Micha Klajman, Inbal Neumark. The debate will be conducted in English. Free entrance.
