MOLERAI - art workshops for adults

JCC Warszawa invites you to the new cycle of art workshops for adults - MOLERAI.

We will meet every other Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the JCC Warszawa (Chmielna 9a) starting on January 14th 2014. The workshops will take about 2 hours each.

Each meeting will introduce new topic and technique. No previously obtained skills or experience are needed - anyone passionate about art can join us.
You can sign up to each session individually or to the cycle of 10 meetings as a whole.

Program:
January 14th - SELF-PORTRAIT (face and image in Judaism) - charcoal, ink, sanguine
January 28th - CUBIC PORTRAIT - pastel
February 11th - COVENANT OF RAINBOW - Colour - watercolour
February 25th - JEWISH MUSIC - spacial illustrations of music
March 11th - JEWISH PAINTERS - copying chosen pieces of art - acrylic paint
March 25th - SCULPTURE - golem
April 8th - STILL LIFE for Pesach
April 29th - FIGURE DRAWING - drawing from a model
May 13th - MODERN JEWISH ART - installation art
May 27th - finishing up the works and preparing the opening of the exhibition

Supervision:
Joanna Świerczyńska, a graduate from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, a graphic designer of many years at Gazeta Wyborcza. Painter, graphic designer, a leader of Koło gospodyń miejskich (~Urban housewives association), cooperated with Paweł Althamer and Artur Żmijewski among others.

Participation fee:
Participation in an individual session: 20zł, participation in all ten sessions: 150 zł. Discount prices for the JCC members: 15 zł/100zł.

Each participant is required to provide him/herself with needed materials according to a list of materials presented beforehand. JCC provides easels and storage for works and materials.

Sign up:
Participation in the activities will be possible only after sending the confirmation of the fee payment to biuro@jccwarszawa.pl no later than by Friday preceding the workshops.
